Emergency services are dealing with an incident between Grantham and Doncaster, meaning all lines are blocked.

As a result, trains running between these stations may be cancelled or delayed. Hull Trains, Grand Central, LNER and Lumo trains are affected.

LNER and Lumo are urging passengers to not travel today – ticket acceptance is in place on Friday 25 August.

Industrial action by the ASLEF union is causing disruption on train services operated by Avanti West Coast, c2c, Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry Trains, East Midlands Railway, Gatwick Express, Greater Anglia, Great Northern, Great Western Railway, Heathrow Express, LNER, London North Western Railway, Northern Trains, Southern, South Eastern, South Western Railway (including Island Line), TransPennine Express, Thameslink and West Midlands Trains.

Many operators are running a heavily reduced timetable, and some not running at all.
